Annie Schaffer

I am a BCU alumna and have worked here for almost 5 years now! I am a little biased but our team is the best! I tend to wear many hats from helping with recruiting, to training our new employees, helping with special events/visit days on campus, overseeing our student Ambassadors and Work-Studies. I also help our financial aid office in awarding new students.

I am married to my high school sweet heart and we have two kiddos, Odin and Alina! In my free time I like to use my degree, and freelance with graphic design and photography. I enjoy drawing, reading, baking, decorating, and refurbishing. I am also a Pinterest and Tik Tok addict!

My fun fact is that I was born in Vladikavkaz, Russia, and spent much of my childhood in an orphanage. There's a long story in between, but I was 11 when a family in Iowa adopted me. My older brother signed to play football at Briar Cliff, so I guess you could say I followed in his footsteps.

When it was time for me to choose a school, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I have always been creative and artistic, so my mom helped me decide on graphic design and marketing. I loved working in our new digital media lab with the other graphic design students. It had tons of big-screen Mac computers and all of the latest Adobe design software to give us experience.
