Kendra Kersting

Kendra Kersting ('18), an environmental science and history major from Winona, MN, found a supportive community at The Cliff where she could explore her passion for the environment and her faith.

Kendra's favorite projects during her time at Briar Cliff highlighted the power of experiential learning and gave her the tools she needed to succeed after graduation. She organized and led a prairie rescue, traveled to the Galapagos Islands, went on a week-long excursion to the Black Hills, and did a 30-hour fast and the Seed and Feed events as part of campus ministry. These activities did more than educate her, they also gave her an opportunity to bond with her classmates and instructors.

"Everyone is so close and friendly," she said of the community at Briar Cliff. "I love being able to walk across campus and know just about everyone and they know me as well."
