Writing & Translation Center

We know that writing is an essential job and life skill. In most circles, especially professional circles, effective oral and written communication is the primary basis upon which one's work, learning, and intellect will be judged. Quality writing skills enhance our ability to explain and refine our ideas, enabling us to better communicate with others. At Briar Cliff, we created the Writing & Translation Center to help develop these critical skills within our students as part of their broad-based education.

The Writing & Translation Center offers feedback on students' assignments. Located in the Heelan Hall 338, students can bring for review their written assignments for a class, or other items such as resumes or cover letters. Writing mentors will review students' work and help them create a revision plan.
