Briar Cliff University Student Government Announces New Board Members

Briar Cliff University announces the new board for Briar Cliff Student Government (BCSG).  BCSG will appoint new president Payton Hilts for the 2023-2024 academic year. Hilts is a Charger softball team member and a senior studying nursing.

“I feel very lucky to represent the students of Briar Cliff University and ensure our voices are heard,” said Hilts. “With the great leadership I had last year when I held the position of Vice President, I feel as if I am prepared.”

Hilts emphasized the goal of BCSG this academic year is to make the Briar Cliff experience memorable. “We want to continue bringing awareness to all the events that occur on our campus to bring more student involvement and support.” said Hilts.

The BCSG executive cabinet along with Andersen will consist of Vice President Jaice Johnsen, Treasurer Sami Wasmund, Secretary Kailee Tucker, and Marketing Co-Chair’s Anesa Davenport and Kylee Lukes.

Briar Cliff Student Government is the voice of the student body.Their major function is to represent the line of communication between students, faculty, and administration.
