Stehr Awarded Provider of the Year

Briar Cliff University assistant nursing professor Heather Stehr was awarded Provider of the Year by the Siouxland Community Health Center. The Provider of the Year award recognizes a provider for the quality of care they provide as well as their compassion for their patients.

Stehr was recognized for role modeling the mission and values of the organization with patients and staff. She is described as warmly engaging and consistently energetic which uplifts her team.

Stehr currently serves as Master Clinical Instructor for the Briar Cliff University nursing department. She holds her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master’s in Nursing Education and Post-Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Briar Cliff and will receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice this May.
