Faith & Film Series – Terrence Malick’s “A Hidden Life”
September 20, 2021
The Briar Cliff Theology Department is proud to present the “Faith and Film Series” which will screen “A Hidden Life” at 6 p.m. on September 23 in the Meis Recital Hall on the university’s campus.
“A Hidden Life” asks challenging questions about the value of standing by one’s moral convictions in a world that neither recognizes nor rewards that cost of practical faith. Written and directed by Terrence Malick, the 2019 film stars August Diehl and Valerie Pachner.
The Faith & Film Series watches thought provoking features and discusses the emotional and societal implications the audience felt following the viewing. This event is free and open to the public, masks are required.
