On Common Ground

“On Common Ground” was established to promote the stewardship of Iowa’s Loess Hills by fostering greater awareness of and appreciation for this exceptional natural landscape through print and digital media.  Briar Cliff University obtained grants for the "On Common Ground" project from the Margaret Everist Foundation, Iowa Department of Natural Resources REAP Conservation Education Program, and the National Endowment for the Arts.  The grant funds covered the encampment, audio/visual equipment, publication of a book, a film production, and curriculum for postsecondary and secondary levels.
