Molly Bormann
At Briar Cliff University, it's not unusual for students to discover new passions during their academic journeys. For one student, a clinical placement in the Behavior Analysis Clinic changed everything. Originally a Nursing major, Molly Bormann now balances a double major in Psychology and Behavior Analysis.
Molly is enthusiastic about learning, even when the workload is intense. She’s mastered the art of balance; managing academics while finding time to have fun. As an advocate to staying organized, her largest piece of advice to other students is to use a planner to stay on top of studying.
Her involvement on campus runs deep with her being involved in the Health and Science Club and leading the Behavior Analysis program at the Briar Cliff Clinic. Despite a course load many would find overwhelming, Molly thrives on the challenge.
One professor, Dr. Harman, has been particularly impactful in Molly’s academic journey. "Something that sticks out is any class with Dr Harman because he's just an amazing professor” She shares, reflecting on her experience. “He really helps me understand through examples, and he makes learning fun, which is what I hope to do with my future patients."
Her story exemplifies the unique path many students take at Briar Cliff University, where supportive professors, hands-on experiences, and a close-knit community make room for personal and academic growth.
