The Hooding Ceremony is a symbolic event that gives Briar Cliff University the opportunity to recognize our Doctor of Physical Therapy graduates for completing the program and earning their advanced degrees.  

This year's ceremony will be held in the Our Lady of Grace Chapel. During the service, our DPT faculty will place the doctoral hood over the head of the graduate. Graduates will then wear this additional academic attire (regalia) as they walk in the full commencement ceremony.  

All DPT graduates and their support system are welcome and encouraged to attend this ceremony and join us for reception to follow in the atrium.
