Why This Program?

Understand aging populations.  

The program studies the social, cultural, psychological, cognitive, and biological aspects of aging. Students earning a minor in Gerontology will understand more about aging and working with aged populations, which will help across all disciplines. The program provides the vehicle for organized gerontological studies for any student in any of the academic programs.
