Guarneri Practice Fields
In 1991, the Guarneri Practice Fields were created to provide a training space for the Briar Cliff soccer teams and became the practice home of Briar Cliff football when the program was added in 2001. Since then, the space has expanded into a recreation area for Briar Cliff intramurals and other outdoor activities. Located just down the hill from the McCoy-Arnold Center, across from the sand volleyball courts, the practice field is surrounded by our beautiful, protected prairie.
Two crows nest towers and a goalpost were added to the practice fields in 2017.
The fields are named after Domenick Guarneri, the founder of men’s and women’s soccer at Briar Cliff.
