The Clausen Art Gallery at Briar Cliff University is pleased to present Within a Garden, an exhibition curated by Thomas Wharton, featuring the works of Kristin Pluhacek. Pluhacek’s drawings beautifully capture the dynamic, transformative nature of the garden, exploring themes of growth, nurturing, and change. Her work reminds us that a garden is not a static environment, but a living, evolving space, much like the process of creation itself.

Kristin Pluhacek, a celebrated artist from Omaha, Nebraska, has exhibited widely throughout the Midwest and her work is represented in numerous collections. In addition to her studio practice, she teaches drawing at Creighton University and Metropolitan Community College. We invite you to visit the exhibition, open to the public from October 21^st, 2024 – December 6th, 2024.
