Attend A Visit Day

Learn about the opportunities for Education majors and hear our keynote speaker, Krystal Colbert, Iowa’s Teacher of the Year!

Join us for a series of interactive sessions that will leave you with a good understanding of all things BCU. Throughout the day you will get the chance to talk to real students and graduates of the Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Sports Management, International Business, Mass Communications, Graphic Design, and Sports Information programs at Briar Cliff. Find out more about the career paths they have/will taken/take with their degrees. Finally, end the day having fun with the social media network that makes up the mouthpiece and customer service line for most businesses today. We hope you can make it! 

Health and Science Visit Day includes a variety of sessions led by BCU professors in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Exercise Science, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. The sessions will include an opportunity to tour the cadaver lab, get a hands on collegiate experience in a lab, and interact with faculty.

Careers in social work, psychology, behavioral analysis, and criminal justice focus on helping people in many different ways. Join us and conduct a simulated therapy session in the Behavioral Analysis Clinic, participate in crisis intervention with our Social Work faculty, and process a crime scene scenario with our Criminal Justice faculty. 

Join us on The Cliff for a day as a part of our Sophomore and Junior group visit experience. 

This full agenda of activities will leave you and your support system with a good understanding of all things BCU. With a variety of interactive sessions, we will keep you busy as you get the chance to:

• Learn about BCU and campus activities 
• Meet with professors in areas that interest you
• Hear from our Compass team 
• Learn from a BCU student panel all the exciting reasons to come to BCU! 
• Tour our beautiful campus! 
• Listen to understand the basics of Financial Aid
• Special BCU gift for everyone! 

Spend time on The Cliff and meet with advisors to learn how your credits can transfer into one of our academic programs. You will learn about support services, activities, clubs, and tour campus. Lunch and prizes are provided!

We look forward to sharing what BCU has to offer in academics and BCU student life! Meet with current BCU students, participate in a mock classroom, and meet with faculty to hear how BCU is a great choice to continue your education!

Immerse yourself in the future of nursing at Briar Cliff University as you dive into a day in the life on campus, shadow a nursing student, attend a nursing class, enjoy lunch at Clifftop Eats, and participate in a Q&A session to gain insights into a cutting-edge nursing education.
