Briar Cliff's 14th annual Swimming with the Sharks is based on the TV show Shark Tank. This competition allows local entrepreneurs to share their businesses in front of a panel of judges for the opportunity to win prize money to support their business.

Five entrepreneurs have five minutes to pitch their businesses and business judges have five minutes to ask them questions. At the end of the evening they will find out if they won a grant that could be worth thousands of dollars.
