Ho-Chunk CEO raises stakes for Briar Cliff business contest

SIOUX CITY | The winners of a contest for local entrepreneurs later this week will get a chance to present their plans to Ho-Chunk Inc., CEO Lance Morgan said.
"Whoever wins it is welcome to come down (to Ho-Chunk's Winnebago, Neb., headquarters) to pitch it to us," Morgan said. "If it makes sense, we’ll back you. We’ll figure out a way to help you. We do it all the time, so it’s a real offer."
Morgan's comments were part of his keynote address Monday at Briar Cliff University that kicked off Entrepalooza, an annual, four-day event that celebrates entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
As part of Entrepalooza, the annual competition, Swimming with the Sharks, will be Thursday at Briar Cliff.
