Dr. Bell holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Dr. Stephanie Bell joined the Briar Cliff faculty in the fall of 2008 and is currently an assistant professor of psychology. Dr. Bell teaches courses on lifespan psychology, child psychology, adolescent psychology, introductory psychology and cognitive psychology. Prior to joining the faculty at Briar Cliff, she taught courses at Simpson College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Methodist College and Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Dr. Bell’s research interests focus on learning and development. Specifically, she is interested in how to provide the best environment for individuals to learn, grow and develop. Much of Dr. Bell’s research has focused on optimizing the use of technology in the learning process.
