From the artist:

"I am influenced by that which looks painted — my child's smile in relation to the light in her eyes; the lines in the street lights, blades of grass, buildings or an airplane's leftover smoke. I'm constantly finding objects and considering ways to make the heavy seem light and the light appear dark. I'm fascinated by an object that stands alone, but at any moment could topple over. The world is filled with abandoned tings just waiting to be found — to be reborn. I do not limit myself to canvas, brushes and paint. I find beauty in found objects and their underlying potential."
