02.15.13 Black History MonthBriar Cliff students celebrate Black History Month with this tribute to the Civil Rights Movement.

The keynote speaker is Joanne Bland, a Civil Rights Activist and a co-founder of the National Voting Rights Museum in Selma, Ala. 

The program features singing from the Cliff Singers and the Mount Zion Baptist Choir, along with live readings of winning entries from the Black History Month essay contest. 

Essay entries are due Feb. 15. Submit them to Darrell Lofton in Alverno Hallk Room G4 or e-mail them to Darrell.Lofton@briarcliff.edu.
